I am an interdisciplinary artist, writer, wanderer, and collaborator.

I am interested in a trans poetics that disentangles signifier from signified, liberating gender from limits of identification into expansive possibility of becoming (trans/forming), and leaning into the tension where technologies fails us. I make poems and art that embrace this failure; I play knowing the stakes intimately: what fails us, and what poetry attempts with language as both rupture and suture. What poetic forms hold parallel to bodies and expectations.

My work has been featured in publications including Number, Nashville Arts, Wussy, and Dinner Bell. Exhibitions and performances include Public Space One (Iowa City), Tiger Strikes Asteroid (Ashville, NC), unrequited leisure (Nashville), Cucalorus Festival (Wilmington, NC), SeedSpace (Nashville), Fuller Projects (Bloomington), and Noise Gallery (Bloomington). I have been an artist-in-residence with Cucalorus, the School of Making Thinking, Lazuli, and the JHU-MICA Film Centre. I earned an MFA in poetry from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, an MFA in digital art from Indiana University, Bloomington, and a BA from Vanderbilt University. I serve on the board of the School of Making Thinking.
